Built for the Geometry → Algebra 2 transition
The standard high school math sequence moves from Algebra 1 through Geometry and then into Algebra 2. Even students who did well in Algebra 1 have spent an entire year focused on Geometry — and Algebra 2 picks up right where Algebra 1 left off. A full year away from algebraic thinking means concepts fade, and students who don’t refresh over the summer often find themselves struggling in the first weeks of Algebra 2.
Who this course is designed for
This course is built for any student heading into Algebra 2 — whether they struggled in Algebra 1 or aced it. A full year of Geometry means most students haven’t thought about algebraic concepts in 12 months. This course brings it all back before school starts, so your student walks into Algebra 2 confident and ready rather than scrambling to catch up in the first weeks.
✓ Students who struggled in Algebra 1
If Algebra 1 was tough, this course rebuilds the foundation from the ground up before they face Algebra 2.
✓ Students who aced Algebra 1 — a year ago
Even strong Algebra 1 students spend a full year in Geometry. A summer refresh keeps those skills sharp heading into Algebra 2.
✓ Students preparing for Algebra 2
Algebra 2 picks up right where Algebra 1 left off. Students with gaps will fall behind quickly without a strong foundation.
✓ Students who want to rebuild confidence
Math confidence matters as much as the content. Small group instruction gives students the space to ask questions without pressure.

Course curriculum
This course targets key concepts from Algebra 1 in four focused weeks. Each session targets a key concept area that students commonly struggle with — rebuilding understanding from the ground up so your student finishes the summer confident and ready for Algebra 2.
Solving equations & literal equations Algebra 1
One-step, multi-step, and equations with no solution or infinite solutions — plus solving formulas for a specific variable, a skill that shows up constantly in science and higher math.
Writing linear equations & graphing lines Algebra 1
Slope-intercept and point-slope form, graphing from equations and two points, horizontal and vertical lines — everything students need to read and write the language of lines.
Absolute value & quadratic graphs Algebra 1
Graphing V-shaped absolute value functions and parabolas, identifying vertices, intercepts, and key features — the foundation for function analysis in Algebra 2 and beyond.
Factoring Algebra 1
GCF, factoring trinomials when a=1 and a≠1 — the skills students need to solve quadratics and simplify expressions throughout Algebra 2.
Real results from real students
“My son spent a whole year in Geometry and by the time Algebra 2 started it was like he’d forgotten everything. After this refresher he actually understood what he’d been missing. His teacher said he came in more prepared than most of the class.”
“My daughter said she finally understood slope after week one. Four weeks later she was doing problems she couldn’t touch before. The small group made all the difference — she wasn’t afraid to ask questions.”
